A high-quality model is offered: Swiss quarter-repeater pocket watch with dial signature CHRONOMETRE ERAX / SUISSE, made around 1900-1909. The watch has a classic 14K (585) solid yellow gold 3-lid case with a total weight of 88.12g.

This pocket watch combines a technically sophisticated quarter repeater with a 14K solid gold case and original components - a rare combination of mechanics, substance and authentic condition.

All three case lids (outer lid, dust cover, movement cover) bear the same case number 76206, which clearly confirms the original case fitting. In addition, they are 14K gold hallmarks as well as a Swiss case marking typical of the period.

Inside works a mechanical Swiss repeater movement with 18 jewels and lever escapement. The movement bears a separate movement number, which is normal and correct for Swiss pocket watches of this era because the movement and case were manufactured separately.

The clock has been technically checked and runs well and accurately for its age. The quarter repeater is fully functional, the striking mechanism triggers cleanly and sounds clear. No measurements were taken on the timing machine; the assessment is based on practical operation and functional tests. There is no water resistance.

The original white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and small seconds at 6 o'clock shows slight age-related hairline cracks, without flaking. The blued steel hands are typical of the era and original.

The case diameter is approx. 52 mm (without crown and lugs). The gold case shows age and use-related signs of wear and dents, especially on the inner lids, as can be seen in the photos.
